Hudgell Solicitors is helping raise the profile of a charity which champions inclusion for all people with a disability or disadvantage in life – by sponsoring the annual Parliamentary Pancake Race at Westminster.
The event, which will be held on Shrove Tuesday, 9 February, will see teams of MPs, Lords, and members of the press go head-to-head in a bid to be crowned the champions of 2016.
The race, which usually attracts a number of high-profile competitors and media coverage, helps to spread the word about the work of Rehab in helping disabled people enjoy independent and rewarding lives, playing an active role within their communities and workplaces.
This year, the MPs team is looking for a first win since 2013, with the media team having claimed glory in 2015 and the Lords team victorious in 2014.
Through its divisions Momentum, TBG Learning, Haven Enterprises and the Chaseley Trust, Rehab supports more than 30,000 people, including children and adults with disability, people on the autism spectrum, people with mental health difficulties and people who are disadvantaged in some way in the labour market.
Rehab is also a leading campaigner for reforms to policy and legislation, to remove barriers preventing equal opportunities.
