Comedian Dara Ó Briain has been revealed as the host for The Lawyer Awards 2016, to take place on 29 June.
The awards, held in association with Travelers, will take place for the first time at the InterContinental London O2.
Ó Briain follows in the footsteps of a stellar line-up of hosts, including Conservative politician William Hague, actress Joanna Lumley, and comedian and broadcaster Sandi Toksvig.
He will hand out the awards to the winners of 26 categories including the coveted Firm of the Year in front of an audience of more than 1,200 senior lawyers. In total, 45 of the top 50 UK firms will be represented and more than 30 top managing partners will be at the ceremony.
Those attending include the majority of the judging panel of leading in-house lawyers and managing partners from around the world.
The judges selected the winners from a shortlist revealed last month.
Attendees will be welcomed to the awards with a red carpet and the event will conclude with a magnificent fireworks display over the Thames.
