Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP) has launched a free online collaborative platform aimed at senior in-house lawyers.
The site will allow general counsel to leverage legal technology and data analytics when performing their roles.
Called GC Tech Talk, the portal lets participants share insights, best practice and discuss how to overcome pitfalls. BLP said it also provides access to material and summaries from the firm’s ongoing series of legal technology roundtable sessions, the most recent of which focused on an introduction to document automation and a discussion about AI.
Bruce Braude, BLP’s head of strategic client technology, said: “We’ve seen very high levels of interest from corporate counsel in leveraging technology and data analytics to drive efficiencies and manage legal risk.
“We’ve decided to bring this community together and, through this portal, enable active collaboration and sharing in this rapidly developing and highly relevant area to the delivery of smarter legal services.”
Mohammed Ajaz, group head of legal operational excellence at National Grid, said GC Tech Talk has “the potential to be a hugely useful tool for GCs across all different sectors and industries”.
