Alexander Brown and Stephanie Wood (instructed by Blocks Solicitors) acted for the Defendant, Largo Foods, in successfully defending claims arising out of a commercial agency contract. The claimants sought damages worth approximately £3m in respect of three main claims, which were heard in a 5-day Commercial Court trial in June 2016.

The Claimants (represented by Oliver Segal QC) also sought commission in respect of transactions which they said were “mainly attributable” to their efforts under Regulation 8.  The Judge accepted the Defendant’s factual evidence, and dismissed the vast majority of these claims.
