Taylor Wessing has made up two lawyers in the City out of a total of 15 worldwide.
Corporate lawyer Josef Fuss has been promoted within London, as well as finance senior associate Gareth Lawson.
Lawson joined Taylor Wessing in 2011 from K&L Gates.
The majority of promotions come from Taylor Wessing’s German offices, with a total of six made up in the region. Germany has also seen the firm’s only female promotions, with two promoted this year equivalent to 13 per cent.
A capital markets trio were made up – Janina Pochhammer, Oliver Rothley and Ulrich Reers – as well as technology lawyer Britta Heymann, corporate lawyer Mike Goldammer and real estate lawyer Adrian Birnbach.
Taylor Wessing’s practice in the Netherlands saw three promotions, while two lawyers were made up in both Singapore and Slovakia.
The firm’s last UK promotions round was in April 2015, with this year’s newly promoted lawyers joining the partnership in May.
There is understood to have been a delay in collating with Taylor Wessing’s other international offices this year.
