Collyer Bristow’s James Badcock quoted in City AM discussing the rise in investor visa applications post-Brexit.
Investor visa applications rose sharply after the referendum as wealthy foreigners sought to take advantage of special immigration rules and a weaker sterling.
Non-UK individuals who invest at least £2m can enter the UK for three years under the Tier 1 visa scheme, with the option of extending this period by two years.
James Badcock comments on how he expects to see more applications in the near future as wealthy foreigners fear tighter immigration regulations and take the opportunity to invest provided by the weaker pound.
