DWF head of banking litigation Andrew Breckenridge has joined Leeds firm Gordons as a partner in its commercial litigation team.
He joins Gordons after more than seven years at DWF as both head of banking disputes and head of its Leeds office.
Gordons senior partner John Holden said: “Andrew is an outstanding lawyer with an instinctive ability to provide clients with clarity amongst the complexity of banking litigation. He has an excellent reputation and nationally, combined with a real desire to further grow our strong commercial litigation service.”
DWF has seen 18 months of rapid expansion outside of the UK, including a series of mergers and its first office in France through a tie-up with four-partner Heenan Paris.
The firm also recently merged with 20-partner Belfast-based C&H Jefferson in November, and acquired German commercial boutique BridgehouseLaw in late 2015.
