Bond Dickinson, Shepherd & Wedderburn and Pinsent Masons have been appointed to the inaugural legal panel of Water Plus, a joint venture between United Utilities and Severn Trent.
The Stoke-on-Trent-based business launched last year, providing water and sewage retail services for businesses across the UK.
The firms will provide legal expertise across commercial, competition, regulatory and commercial disputes.
Bond Dickinson’s client relationship partner is energy and natural resources lawyer Ian Newcombe. Shepherd & Wedderburn’s client partner is Liz McRobb, while Pinsent Masons’ client partner is Greg Lowson.
Running the in-house legal team of Water Plus is head of legal and company secretary Kristin Garrett.
In March 2015 Eversheds won the position of sole legal adviser to Severn Trent for a five-year term.
