Ogier announces new partner and increased Caribbean dispute resolution capability in Hong Kong

Ogier has announced the appointment of Oliver Payne to its Caribbean Dispute Resolution team based in Hong Kong.

As a commercial litigation practitioner with over six years’ experience of Cayman company disputes and insolvency and restructuring, Oliver has relocated from Ogier’s Cayman office to the Hong Kong team and joins as a partner, bringing the law firm’s global partnership to 50.

In addition to acting for significant financial institutions operating in London and Hong Kong, Oliver has been involved in insolvency matters concerning many of the large accountancy firms, including EY, PwC, KPMG, Deloitte and Grant Thornton.

Oliver has extensive experience in international fund disputes, and acts for and against a variety of service providers, including directors, investment managers, administrators, shareholders and creditors.
