Buckinghamshire law firm B P Collins LLP has added new depth and expertise to its private client team with the appointment of two new lawyers.
Lucy Fisher and Dominic Ibbs both bring in-depth knowledge in the areas of wills, trust and probate.
An experienced private client specialist, Lucy has spent the last decade advising clients at a respected regional law firm, and says she was attracted by B P Collins’ “long-standing and very good reputation”.
She specialises in advising high net worth clients on drafting wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection work, estate planning and administration of estates and has also advised families with a mix of business interests, farming assets and property overseas.
Dominic, who trained with a Mayfair law firm and qualified as a solicitor in 2012, advises on wills, trusts, estate planning, powers of attorney, deputyships and other applications to the Court of Protection, and the administration of estates.
He particularly enjoys helping families understand the complexities of trust law, and also specialises in applications to the Court of Protection for vulnerable people who have lost the capacity to deal with their own affairs.
The eight-strong private client team, ranked top in the region by independent legal directory The Legal 500, specialise in wills, trusts and probate matters and advice regarding the validity of wills, claims under the Inheritance Act and applications to remove personal representatives from their roles as executors and administrators.
