Clifford Chance has won a place on ITV’s panel for the first time, joining the broadcaster’s other panel firms including Hogan Lovells, Olswang and Wiggin.

The magic circle firm has been granted a place on the roster for three years as part of an overall renewal of ITV’s panel.

This is the first time Clifford Chance has won a formal spot on the panel, with the firm expected to help ITV on international M&A matters, as well as treasury knowledge, tax issues, real estate and pensions matters.

Clifford Chance joins a number of other firms on ITV’s roster including Charles Russell Speechlys, DLA Piper and Hogan Lovells, who are understood to have retained their places on the panel.

According to The Lawyer Market Intelligence, ITV also lists Olswang, Reed Smith and Slaughter and May on its panel, as well as Squire Patton Boggs and Wiggin.

ITV last revamped its legal panel in 2012, with firms including Addleshaw Goddard and Goodman Derrick losing their spots.
