Kanat Seidaliev, Partner of GRATA Law Firm, participated in the Central Asia Investment Forum, organised by the Financial Times and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
The forum was attended by representatives of public and private sectors of Central Asian countries: Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Mongolia, Turkmenistan and China. The forum was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey Mr. Mehmet Şimşek and EBRD President Mr. Suma Chakrabarti. Chinese initiative on revival of the Great Silk road, known as the “One Belt – One Road”, was the theme presentation of executive vice president of the Chinese Silk Road Fund Ms. Wang Dan.
The forum discussed the investment climate in Central Asia and opportunities for investors, creating a Central Asian infrastructure, as well as the integration of the Central Asian countries and Turkey, and the possibilities for infrastructure investments in “Silk road”.
