Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom has made up two London lawyers to its global partnership in an 11-strong promotions round.
Corporate counsel Sandro de Bernardini has been at the firm since 2005 and was a senior associate for eight years. He started his career at Italian firm Chiomenti Studio Legale.
Alex Jupp, a solicitor in the firm’s tax practice, has also made the cut in London.
The majority of the promotions were made in the firm’s New York office across a range of practice areas including M&A, corporate restructuring and antitrust.
Just two (18 per cent) of the promotions were female, although women made up nearly half of the promotions last year.
Last year, Skadden made up just one partner in London – litigation and arbitration lawyer David Edwards.
