Khaitan & Co represented HIL Limited (HIL) in relation to a suit filed by HIL against “Aerecon Buildtech Private Limited” for infringement and passing off of its trademark “AEROCON”.
The Hon’ble Court after considering our submissions in the matter, passed the permanent injunction order against “Aerecon Buildtech Private Limited” and restrained it from using the trademark “AERECON” or any other deceptive similar trademark. HIL Limited formerly known as Hyderabad Industries Limited is a flagship company of CK Birla Group. They are into construction materials, machinery, industrial supplies and components; logistics network.
